We all need healing.

This space, The Phoenix, came out of need. We can all list traumas that have interrupted our lives. Obviously, some can become more impactful; but we don't need to compare to understand the pain. I have connected with the people who practice here. We understand what it feels like to be on this journey, and through our experiences, we lift up each other.

I am no different than many who are on a growth path. I am accountable and own my choices, good, bad, or ugly, I empowered myself with the tools to work towards healing. Life is not happening to me. I am happening to life, and life better look out!

In the darkest parts of my journey, It would have been simple to fall into patterns of anger or blame. There was a lot of soul searching, dusting myself off, and taking these changes, hard as they were, and making them into something great!

My health took an unexpected detour. One that was not easily fixable. This was not easy for the fixing-it mindset I had grown into over the years. My health is wrapped in a mystery. I had to embrace this void, and take control. Reiki, massage, and meditation have been a rope to help me climb upward.

None of this is easy. I've traveled down paths that felt like a sure thing, only to find it was not what I wanted or needed.  I no longer look at these setbacks as failures. They are rebirths. This is The Phoenix. I can rise and burn brighter than I ever had in the past.

I have channeled these life experiences into my coaching, Reiki, and meditation offerings where I use education, empathy, and humor to empower others to become the fiery light they were always meant to be!
